Anakin loved a beautiful Queen named Padmé. Her smile was brighter than the twin suns of Tatooine, and her laughter was sweeter than the ripest meilooruns on Lothal. Anakin would do anything to keep her safe, to keep her happy. But sometimes, my dear, fear can lead one astray, down paths best left untraveled.
One day, a shadowy stranger named Palpatine whispered words into Anakin’s ear. Words of power, words of promise. He said, “Anakin, only through me can you gain the power to save Padmé.” The words spun around Anakin’s heart like a whirlwind, filling him with hope, but also dread.
Anakin was torn, like a ship caught between the pull of two moons. He thought of the Jedi, his friends, his mentors. They stood for peace, for justice. But they didn’t have the power Palpatine promised. He thought of Padmé, her eyes full of love and trust. He had vowed to protect her, at all costs.

Anakin looked out at the starlit galaxy, his heart heavy with his decision. The stars twinkled, each a beacon of possible futures. Anakin closed his eyes, reaching out with the Force. His heart echoed with the rhythm of the galaxy, and in that moment, he knew what he had to do.
He turned to Palpatine, his blue eyes hard as kyber crystals. “I choose Padmé’s safety,” he declared. The shadowy figure smiled, a serpent basking in the sun’s false warmth.

But deep inside, Anakin Skywalker still lived. Buried beneath layers of fear and darkness, a small spark of light remained. It flickered, dim and distant, but persistent. For love, my dear, is a powerful thing. It can endure, even in the darkest hearts.

Anakin, now Darth Vader, stood alone under the starlit sky. He had gained power, but at what cost? His heart ached with regret and sorrow. He had made his choice out of fear, and it had led him astray.
“Anakin Skywalker, you chose,” the stars seemed to whisper. “But remember, it’s never too late to choose again.”
And so, in the heart of Darth Vader, Anakin Skywalker lived on. A spark of light in the darkness, a whisper of love in the silence. He held on to that spark, to that whisper. For he knew, one day, he would have to make a choice again. A choice not born out of fear, but out of love.
And so, my dear, we learn from Anakin’s tale. We learn that fear can lead us astray, can make us lose sight of what truly matters. We learn that power is not the answer to our fears. We learn that love endures, even in the darkest hearts. And most importantly, we learn that it’s never too late to choose again, to choose love over fear, light over darkness.
As the stars twinkle tonight, remember Anakin’s journey. Remember the choices he made and the lessons he learned. And as you drift to sleep, remember, my dear, to always choose love, to always choose light.
